SENIOR SOCIAL CASEWORKER

(SPANISH SPEAKING)

 

  

Westchester County is recruiting Senior Social Caseworkers proficient in both Spanish and English to work with families and/or children evaluating the need for type, level and range of casework services.

  

 

 

Requirements

 

 

 

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree and two years professional casework experience gained after attaining the minimum education level.  May substitute Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) for portion of experience.
  • Must be able to communicate orally and in writing in English and Spanish.
  • Field work and overtime.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Note:  This is a civil service position.  In the event that someone is hired it is required that they take the Civil Service Examination as soon as it becomes available.
