Design Engineer - AVAYA Voice Expert

Job Description: 

The Design Engineer will provide system and solution design support to the Sales Team and will provide both pre-sales and technical sales support, as well as, solution design support.

Responsibilities:

·         Provide pre-sale technical support to sales team.

·         Design technical solutions:

·         Utilize AVAYA Solution Designer (ASD).  Provide quote in Excel format

·         Total project solution may involve working with other partners (DevConnect, CTI, Recording, etc.)

·         Develop Viseo diagrams as required;

·         Work with Project Manager to develop scope of work.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

·         Strong Experience designing AVAYA ECG based solutions including s8700/8500/8300 Media Servers; H248 gateways; Messaging Solutions; Call Center Solutions; IP Telephony.

·         Proficiency in:  AVAYA Solution Designer (ASD), Viseo, Excel.

·         Ability to define/analyze customer requirements and design appropriate solution.

·         Experience designing AVAYA Solutions.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, professional appearance, understanding of sales process, industry knowledge, well organized, dependable, and excellent listening skills.

·         Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

·         Knowledge of traditional and current voice technologies

·         Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, VoIP is a plus.
