Major Contract Transition Manager PMP / ITIL

Description Job Description
These positions are responsible for the transition of services from current management to Verizon Management. These positions are responsible for transition of services in corporate and all agencies participating in the master services agreement. This entails coordinating a managed takeover of devices and services with the Verizon appropriate operations center, coordinating the provision of like services as needed, establishing current performance baselines, identifying contract deliverables, reviewing and revising existing processes to enable effectiveness in the transitioned environment, engaging and integrating the processes and procedures of Verizon sub-contractors where required, developing and communicating the regional transition plan, establishing a share-point portal for documentation management and posting, and periodically reporting progress updates when required . Escalations management is also a responsibility when and where necessary.

Requirements
Requirements: 5 Years Experience in Commercial or Government Program/Project Management A successful Track Record in Managing Complex Environments A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Computer Science or Engineering or Equivalent Experience 10 Years Experience in Telecommunications or Information Technology Responsibilities: Development and Maintenance of the Transition Plan Activation of the Customer Share-Point Portal Documentation Posting Performance Baselines Contract Deliverables Vendor Management Process Evaluation and Modification Executive Communications Travel When Necessary Escalations Progress Reports. ITIL and/or PMP Certification Preferred.
