Min. 5 years paralegal experience. Experienced in financial service sector and/or litigation preferred. International experience beneficial and highly regarded. Paralegal certificate preferred.

    Description:

    This position involves lead review and analysis of information and reports received from global operations; digest, compilation and summarization of information into substantive report and format; preparation of legal and other documents, investigation, research; and organization of response information.

    Responsibilities typically include:
  • Providing lead administrative analysis and support in review of large quantities of litigation-related documents; preparation of summaries, reports and other information; drafting, preparing, filing, organizing and distribution legal and other documents of a varied and complex nature; compilation of data needed for projects.
  • Compiling, maintaining and updating databases, summaries, reports and files.
  • Communicating and coordinating with in-house attorneys, outside counsel, company managers on select legal issues.
  • Performing legal research and review, analyze and document Delaware, United States and foreign laws and regulations as assigned.
  • May include assistance for various projects, such as for mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, or new business.
  • May include assistance in the preparation, organization, and maintenance of legal documents for creation/maintenance of ALICO member companies, including charter documents, board meetings, qualifications, power of attorney, incumbency and officer’s certificates; etc.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
