Compensation: $28.50 to $35.00 per hour

Major non profit in DC is seeking a Senior Grants Auditor for approximately three months to assist with the following.

•Prepare Audit reports for Senior Management and Audit Director.
•Ensure compliance with internal regulations, perform Audits, and test Internal controls.
•Prepare Audit reports and perform special projects as requested.
•Report on Audit results and make recommendations to management.
•Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies
•Travel up to 25%

Requirements •Bachelors in Accounting.
•Five or more years of Audit experience in public accounting or private industry with non-profit or grants is required.
•Excellent communication skills and strong writing skills are required.
•CIA or CPA preferred
