  • Must possess ability to read and understand assembly documents and parts lists.

  • Assist in the identification, documentation and improvement of processes when necessary.

  • Ability to read PCB schematics is required.

  • Maintains accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, labor, and special projects.

  • Proficient skill in using hand tools, soldering iron, solder wick, flux, hot-air tools, microscope etc.

  • Remove, replace & resolder all types of SMT components such as chip capacitors, chip resistors & fine pitch components and ensure good solder joints.

  • Experience with trace repair, lead free soldering hot-air and BGA rework a plus.

  • Some experience with cable assemblies and building test fixtures also a plus.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability

  • Ability to repair product in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures and specifications

  • Completes assigned jobs in a timely manner

  • Adheres to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA regulations.



    Required skills

  • 1-2 years of experience;

  • High School Diploma or GED;

  • A+ certifications

  • Completions of assembly blue print reading class or equivalent experience.

  • Basic computer skills in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point)

  • Minimum two year hands on experience doing component-level SMT rework.

  • Must be able to hand solder fine-pitch components and show proficiency with a soldering iron using the drag method.

  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
