Immediate opportunity available for a Nurse Practioner to join the Hospitalist Group at VBMC. Currently there are 2 NP and 12 MD's in the group. The position is responsible for assisting in the acute care of patients and will act as an integral member of a progressive hospitalist team where compassionate, excellent communication skills and a desire for continuing education are paramount. Qualified candidates will have experience in inpatient acute care on a medical floor. Must be competent in physical assessment and differential diagnosis. Requirements New York State Nurse Practitioner license, patient care for hospitalist patients collaborating with hospitalist.
