Compensation: $90000 to $105000 per year
Our client, a growing financial services company located in Washington, DC is looking for a Consolidations Manager. This individual will be responsible for managing and developing a team to prepare and analyze the consolidated financial statements, its subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as financial statement disclosures that meet the SEC reporting standards for publicly-traded entities. This position is also responsible for designing and implementing business process and internal control improvements in the areas of consolidation and reporting. This position will oversee the implementation of a new consolidation system. The position will be expected to build strong working relationships with the entire accounting team to achieve his/her primary responsibilities. Additionally, this person will act as the primary contact with the external auditors during the audit process on consolidation and reporting. Qualified candidates will have a CPA, BS in Accounting, 7+ years of professional experience in accounting and/or SEC reporting (minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience; corporate experience also preferred), Financial Services experience+ & SEC reporting+.
