Research & Development Technician with Instron Testing Six Month Contract $16 an hour
Specific Responsibilities: 'Conduct testing/experimentation to support this company's R&D efforts 'Write clear and concise testing protocols and reports 'Collaborate with engineering personnel to develop new test methods 'Hands-on operation and maintenance of test equipment 'Interpret test data and determine if product meets predetermined acceptance criteria 'Preparation of various test solutions for test methods 'Perform a variety of mechanical testing such as Instron, Burst, Leak, and Flow testing 'Manage multiple projects simultaneously
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 'Education: Technical School with applicable experience, or Associates Degree with applicable experience. Will also considered individuals with a BS/BA but not preferred 'Experience with mechanical testing required, such as Instron, Burst, Leak and Flow testing 'Ability to follow documented procedures 'Ability to organize and document laboratory work according to company policy and procedures 'Strong communication skills (written and verbal) 'Strong problem solving skills 'Proficient with computer skills involving Windows, Internet and MS Outlook 'Diligent worker with ability to work in a fast paced environment.
