But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we seek a Quality Assurance Specialist.

Basic Purpose:

Responsible for licenser, accreditation and inspection of the laboratory.  Accountable for the internal and external quality assurance programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develops, implements, and maintains corporate programs including: accident/incident investigations, exposure monitoring, eye protection, tuberculosis prevention, biosafety program, emergency evacuation, and safely handling materials.

2. Develops and reviews protocols to enhance QA Program.

3. Reviews and analyzes external Proficiency Testing program results - maintains data base, produces monthly summaries for internal corporate distribution.

4. Facilitates QA Programs that prevent the potential harmful incidents and that meet federal, state, and local regulations and industry standards.

5. Coordinates accident/incident investigations, along with human resources.

6. Coordinates the processing of C.A.P. and NYS proficiency testing samples.  Qualifications: Education Required: BA/BSWork Experience: 2 to 3 years,

Must have current State of California CLS license
