What is the job description for CVS photo lab supervisor?

  • Provide excellent customer service: prioritize orders, maintain in-depth knowledge of current photo products and services, resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, and establish professional relationships with customers to build sales through suggestive selling, soliciting business accounts, local events and promotions.
  • Perform all functions necessary to open and close the Photo Lab.
  • Develop, price and package photo orders.
  • Maintain a neat and organized Photo Lab and storage area.
  • Schedule, perform and monitor all daily/weekly/monthly equipment maintenance activities to minimize machine malfunctions and downtime.
  • Prevent all photo markdowns from exceeding to the established minimum standard by identifying opportunities and developing improvement plans as necessary.
  • Ensure the Photo Lab and all employees who process film follow Federal and State laws and OSHA regulations.
  • Make recommendations for improved Photo Lab performance and implement plans.
  • Oversee and operate all equipment, kiosks and technologies associated with the Photo Lab.
  • Ensure employees are following all Loss Prevention policies to minimize Shrink in the Photo Lab, and react to all signs of internal and external theft.
  • Maintain an in-stock position on all Photo Lab supplies.
  • Work with the Store Manager to anticipate inventory needs based on seasonal and local events.
  • Coordinate and track Training and Certification of all Photo Lab employees.
  • Assign, prioritize, and follow up on tasks to Photo Lab employees, while providing direction and feedback.
  • Communicate and work effectively with the Store Team, Regional Category Specialist, District Manager and Qualex Account Development Specialist.
  • Work with the Store Manager to create a weekly Photo Lab schedule based on processing volume to meet customer service standards.
  • Perform all Front Store and Pharmacy activities assigned by the Store Manager.

    • Requirements
    What are the requirements to be a CVS Photo Lab Supervisor?

    • At least one year of supervisory experience in retail, food service, restaurant, or customer service or at least one year of work experience in these types of businesses, preferably at a supervisor level with a two or four year college degree.
    • Ability to work flexible schedules. Schedule adjustments are made according to store needs and operating hours.
    • We are looking for positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic people with strong customer service skills and a pleasant demeanor. Quality, dependable people with a strong work ethic and teamwork approach.
    • Be able to lift 50 pounds to a height of 4 feet.
