The OR Manager is responsible for assisting with departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals. The Manager helps identify the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, and vendors. The Manager identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. Works with the Department Manager and Senior Management in meeting Facility goals. Works as RN Circulator and Scrub Tech as necessary.

Requirements Minimum Experience:  3

Preferred Experience:  4

Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.* Baccalaureate degree preferred.* Current Texas RN License

* BLS, ACLS and PALS required* CNOR preferred

* Independent decision making skills.* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.* Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.
