Description Project Consultants work closely with engineering consultants, developers, governmental agencies and contractors in providing engineering expertise and problem-solving advice.

Responsibilities include identifying and developing all territory potential, conducting technical presentations, performing analysis and specification development, and building project pipeline leads.

Project consultant works from project concept to project bid at which point they support the CONTECH Sales Engineer in closing the product sale.
Requirements
  • Qualified candidates will have engineering or construction industry experience, and a desire to work closely with other professionals providing technical expertise.
  • A Civil Engineering or related degree.
  • Previous sales, marketing and promotion experience is not necessary, but preferred.
  • Great opportunity for an engineer who has been working in the consulting field, who is looking for a new direction in their career that provides more variety and interaction with people. 
  • Candidate must reside in a centrally located area with respect to assigned territory.

Preferred Skills:


  • Civil Engineering degree
  • Presentation and public speaking skills
  • Sound time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, ACT!, etc.)
  • Problem solving skills
