ADM Services Implementation Lead
Position Description
McKesson Health Solutions is seeking a proven Services Implementation Lead to run the Advanced Diagnostic Management (ADM) Services and Implementation team. The Services Implementation Lead will be a key member of the executive team for a new, growing business within McKesson that serves providers, health plans, and labs by delivering a leading edge healthcare content and technology solution. As rapid product adoption continues, the successful Services Implementation Lead will build and direct the team that deploys and manages new customers to facilitate successful large-scale adoption through high customer satisfaction and efficient delivery.
The position requires demonstrated success working directly with customers implementing new SaaS products and achieving high customer satisfaction and efficient delivery of the solution. The ideal candidate has a balance of team building, team work, hands on customer facing skills, and technical acumen. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to play a key role in a highly visible, innovative new business at one of the world¿s premier healthcare services organizations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build, mentor, and lead the team of individuals who work in ADM Services
Build and guide documentation, processes and tools for services to standardize and improve the efficiency of implementations
Own a set of customer implementations while building the team
Support existing customer implementations as customer issues are reported
Secondary Responsibilities:
Provide feedback to product management
Support pre-sales activities with ADM sales opportunities
Join a dynamic executive team in determining priorities for ADM
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills required
Solid understanding of financial planning and budgetary management
Professional services process management, account management, and project management frameworks or approaches
Excellent project and program management skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to manage both direct and indirect hires in a cross-functional environment
Technical experience with: XML, SQL, TCP/IP, FTP, Web SaaS architecture
Strong skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Technical experience with XSLT, Oracle DB, EDI, HL7, X12 a plus.
Team player who can work intelligently and effectively, and prioritize customer satisfaction.
Desire to work in a fast paced startup environment is a must
Ability to work effectively with a virtual team spread geographically and across departments is required
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of experience directly managing a services or implementation team for a growth oriented technology company
10+ years of managing deployment teams or deploying technology solutions required.
2+ years in health care information technology or services required
Previous experience with Internet based software applications required
Clinical diagnostic lab market experience or Health Insurance plan experience preferred
Experience working strategically and tactically on a high performance team with multiple priorities and tight deadlines
Education
4 year degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical implementation experience. MBA strongly preferred in addition.
Physical Requirements
General office environment, with telecommuting
Self-starter; capable of working independently
Consistent customer related travel, up to 33%
