Internet Services is a 3rd Level Corporate service delivery team which provides consulting services, operational process and support of production systems and applications, and technical project support for infrastructure- and business application- driven initiatives. The team supports two Internet service categories: web hosting services and outbound Internet access.

The web hosting service foundation uses Microsoft server applications (IIS 6/7, W2K3/W2K8 Server, SQL Server 2005, AD/DNS 2K3/2K8) and IBM J2EE system platforms (WebSphere Application and Portal Server, IHS/Apache) running on AIX, LINUX, and W2K3/W2K8 operating systems. The team manages numerous web hosting systems, applications and tools, such as F5 BigIP load balancers, IPMonitor, SCOM systems management, ITCAM composite monitor, Urchin web analytics, HP LoadRunner load test, and RepliWeb deployment automation. Internet Services also supports a number of web-related applications, including SharePoint, PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, and EpiServer web content management. The Internet access service uses ISA 2006 proxy servers and leverages ScanSafe web security. The team also has responsibilities for Internet security, integration of 3rd party applications, domain name and certificate administration, and support/compliance/customer documentation.

The candidate will be hired as an Intermediate Internet Analyst/Engineer or a Senior Internet Analyst/Engineer based upon qualifications, skills and organizational needs. Requirements We are currently seeking an Intermediate Internet Analyst/Engineer who possesses experience performing many of the functions previously described or who otherwise possesses a solid working knowledge and proficiency of many of those technologies.

Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate a self-driven, proactive work ethic. Technical skills require a solid proficiency in configuring and supporting Internet and network services on Windows server technologies. Solid proficiency with the following skills is required:
• Strong written and verbal skills, assignment and priority flexibility, and time management skills
• Detailed documentation skills using MS Office Suite
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team structure and independently with customers and other support teams
• W2K3/W2K7 Server operating system configuration and support troubleshooting
• Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP addressing and basic networking (Internet, routers, switches)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to excel under pressure
• Solid understanding of Microsoft network authentication and authorization concepts with Active Directory
• Solid experience working with standard network tools and processes (tracert, nslookup, Terminal Services, FTP, etc.)
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, and available for 24x7 on-call support

Experience and knowledge in the following areas is also preferred:
• Experience and proficiency working with Remedy Incident and Change Management
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL connectivity and troubleshooting
• In-depth TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting, such as the ability to capture and review network traces (e.g., using WireShark)
• A familiarity with deployment, management, and troubleshooting of ASP.NET applications running on IIS6. An understanding of the concepts used to debug ASP.NET errors and log files
• Experience in support of administrator and user functions with SharePoint
• A familiarity with programming concepts and best practices and code debugging knowledge
• Deployment and replication of code using Repliweb or similar tool
• System and file management using BeyondCompare or similar tools
• Experience with automation scripting (Powershell, VBscript)
• A familiarity with Microsoft clustering technology
• A familiarity with or experience with other technologies and team responsibilities described previously

A four year computer science or related technical degree or equivalent work experience is required. A minimum of 2 years of related work experience is also required. Non-traditional work hours may be required as necessary.

Salary guidelines: $62,000 - $74,000 - $86,000
This position is also bonus eligible.
