The NutriDense® Program Manager will be a member of the NutriDense sales team within the BASF Plant Science organization. This team performs critical activities necessary to advance BPS's plant breeding and biotechnology projects from idea to marketplace as fast and effectively as possible. The sales team focuses on promoting value chain coordination and the nutritional value of our products in the marketplace. The NutriDense Program Manager responsibilities will cover the territory of Iowa and eastern Nebraska and will include:
- Develop and oversee NutriDense Grain Networks consisting of grain growers, seed partners, logistics providers and animal feeders to generate pull through demand for hybrid corn seed containing the NutriDense Grain traits.
- Provide support to key seed partners and retail sales personnel including education on the NutriDense Brand platform, positioning value enhanced grain programs, and aid in promotion through on-farm sales calls.
- Prepare and execute key account business plans to ensure alignment of goals and objectives between BPS and the key stake holders within each NutriDense Network.
- Work with BPS Nutrition / Tech Service to promote NutriDense Grain to end users / animal feeders ultimately leading to the consumption of grain derived NutriDense Grain hybrids.
- Work with BPS Marketing to carry out marketing and business development plans and provide on the ground support for grain contract systems.
