Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The PE will possess significant knowledge of construction practices.

  • The PE will be responsible for monitoring each contract for
    general conformance in accordance with the plans and
    specifications for that contract.

  • The PE will monitor each contract for compliance with safety and quality assurance regulations and guidelines.

  • The PE will directly interface with the Corps PE and manage the field inspectors and will be required to confirm that all of the inspectors are trained in accordance with the USACE requirements and that they are properly monitoring construction activities.

  • The PE will directly supervise AE field inspectors on assigned contracts.

  • The PE will be available at least two months prior to the initiation of construction and remain until all contracts are completed and closed out financially.

  • The PE shall complete all required training by the Government and the AE.

  • Period of performance will vary depending on the duration of the construction contracts assigned to PE.

  • The PE should be available two (2) months prior to contract award to permit sufficient time to complete training and security requirements and to become familiar with the plans and specifications for assigned contracts.

  • The assignment of the PE shall end within one (1) month after contract completion.

  • A work week is estimated to be 50 hours.
  • Requirements Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Minimum years of experience: 6+ years

  • Education required: BS Degree

  • This position does require travel. Travel amount isnegligible.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.

  • This position does not manage others
