This role will be responsible for performing a comprehensive review and analysis of Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit prospective client's plan document(s) and successfully representing the Fidelity DC/DB solution during the sales and re-bid process. The successful candidate will consult with Workplace Investing prospective DC/DB clients and position our DC/DB product offering to meet their needs. This role relies heavily upon an individual's knowledge of the DC and DB industry, Fidelity's offering and his/her ability to think strategically, consult with clients, and collaborate with internal business partners.
Success in this position will be dependent upon outstanding knowledge of the Workplace Investing (WI) markets, the defined contribution/defined benefits industry, WI DB product offering, and key competitor's product offerings. We're looking for someone with a proven track record of success in selling product solutions to prospects and clients.

 
Primary Responsibilities 
  • Perform DC and DB plan document review for potential new business relationships and 'score' plan based on standard & non-standard product/ service requirements.
  • Provide DC and DB subject matter expertise during the sales/ re-bid process.
  • Work closely with AEs and PSCs and the DC anb DB organization to define and validate proposed solutions and RFP responses. 
  • Participate in the differentiation of Fidelity's image in the HR/Finance/Benefits community through high impact presentations in the marketplace.
  • Monitor benefits developments and trends on a daily basis.
  • Consult with prospective clients and represent the WI value proposition as part of the broader solution offering.
  • Provide real time market feedback to product team. 
Requirements Education and Experience 
  • Bachelor's Degree, minimum; Master's Degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years related Defined Contribution and DB product/ industry experience.
  • 1 to 2+ years of Fidelity experience desirable.
  • Requires Series 7 and 63.   
Skills and Knowledge 
  • Proven, successful track record for creating demand and differentiation for Fidelity through strategic interactions with prospects that include the suite of products and services offered in Retirement Services.
  • Ability to provide leadership/influence in a matrixed-managed environment, across multiple and diverse business and systems groups.
  • Ability to influence decision makers in the sales process through unique expertise.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Capacity for original, strategic thinking.
  • Strong consultation, presentation and communication skills.
  • An assertive self-starter that is self-motivated and self- directed.
  • Comfort and ability with significant amount of independent work.
  • Ability to develop resource network inside and outside Fidelity.
