Job Summary:
This position will assist in managing the daily activities of the Security and Safety Services operation. Ensure a safe and secure environment for all guest and employees and that protection is provided for the physical property.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the operation of the Security and Safety Services function. Oversee the daily activities and monitor the performance of the Security and Safety Services staff. Create schedules, assign daily duties and communicate operations information to staff members. Work with Meeting Planners and Convention Services to facilitate a successful and safe experience for our clients. Supervise and review initial incident investigations. Ensure a timely response is provided for all reported incidents. Provide follow-up to guest complaints, reports, and employee issues. Perform regular inventories of security equipment. Provide training to Security and Safety Services staff. Ensure that all written documentation is completed at the end of each shift. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: Experience in Hotel Security, Law Enforcement, or Hospitality Management required. Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record required. CPR certification or attain certification within 90 days of start date, must be registered in accordance with the state law (timeframe varies by state law).
