Role Summary/Purpose
The ClearQuest Administrator designs and develops the ClearQuest Schema and the business logic hooks, and also provides daily user support and application upgrades for Rational tools. This position requires hands on programming skills and experience with Perl, XML, and SQL databases.

Qualifications/Requirements
This job is open to internal and external candidates* Experience in the customization and administration of ClearQuest, including writing business logic hooks, reporting implementation, and email notifications* Experience defining requirements, designing databases, and writing advanced Perl code with database and XML parsers* Experience in multi-discipline and complex projects* Able to manage multiple concurrent projects* Experience in project definition and planning* Excellent communication skills to both IT technical associates and business managers* Ability to work within and lead a virtual team* Ability to develop a collaborative working relationship with customers and other teams* Must be flexible and adaptable to meet all requirements* Must be self-motivated, well organized and results driven.
