Kelly IT Resources (KITR) is a specialized division of Kelly Services providing companies around the world with employees skilled in the areas of Application development, Infrastructure support, Network development and support, Information management, and CRM/ERP development and support.

Reporting to the Territory Manager, the District Manager's responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a P&L for this IT staffing district, growing sales, leading a team in developing new business, and cultivate/grow revenue in client accounts.
  • Responsible for the overall management of a key automotive account.
  • Oversee 4 staff members in sales, recruitment, direct hire, onsite, and client retention.
  • Playing an integral role with the company and in its growth.
  • Incorporating effective strategic selling skills to achieve sales objectives and profitable market share in your assigned territory.
  • Following the sales cycle from beginning to end including initial contact, client needs analysis, creating proposals, creating and conducting multi-media presentations.
  • Focusing sales activities to meet branch, regional and divisional goals; developing in conjunction with the Regional Manager, solid strategic sales plans; assessing the needs of each customer and selling to those needs; conducting sales and service calls; preparing weekly sales reports, summaries and analyses; assisting in installing and implementing marketing plans; and assisting in Accounts Receivable collections as directed.

Desirable qualifications and experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have 5 years of sales experience and a B.S. degree or equivalent experience (technical staffing experience preferred).
  • Business to business sales experience in the professional staffing industry (preferably IT, engineering, or finance/accounting) is highly desirable.
  • A strong background in developing business opportunities is required.
  • To be successful you must be a strategic thinker with the ability to see the "big" picture.
  • You must have strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer satisfaction skills.
  • We hire people who are self-starters with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • It is important that you are proficient in relationship building, oral and written communications, sales presentations, time management, and problem solving.
  • The ability to work within a "team" approach is essential.
  • Must be computer literate. (MS Word and Excel and PowerPoint)
