Description

Ensuring that branch operation is in accordance with company policy and procedures. Providing necessary reports to corporate. Recommending operational changes in response to changing conditions.
Recruiting, developing, and managing the efforts of all direct reports toward goals and objectives established by Paychex.
Preparing annual budgets for each branch under their responsibility. Monitoring results toward plan and implementing changes where appropriate.
Ensuring that each branch properly uses the resources allocated in their efforts to provide our clients with the highest quality in products and services. Recommending changes wherever necessary.
Ensuring that each branch complies with corporate personnel policies. Reviewing and approving branch training and development of employees.
Providing support to branches in all areas including computer operations, technical, payroll, and administrative assistance.
Ensuring that an environment of cooperation, communication, and support exists between the branch operations staff and the sales organization.
Recommending and coordinating the search, location, and design of new and relocating branches.
Actively promoting company to accounting and general business community and ensuring that branches do the same.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a similar field with 8-10 years of managerial experience of increasing responsibility is required. Payroll and/or sales experience is helpful. The equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
