In conjunction with this agreement Intel Corporation (through Intel Capital); Google Inc.; Comcast Corporation; Time Warner Cable Inc; and Bright House Networks have collectively agreed to invest $3.2 billion into the new company. Senior Instructional DesignerPlan, develop and maintain the overall instructional flow of various instructor led, web based, and individual study sales training programs. Develop content that is both appropriate and clearly communicated. Instructional designer must be familiar not only with the content to be learned and the level of the learner, but also with determining the appropriate method of delivery, presenting information and interacting with users. Deadline driven, organized individual who develops and updates course content as needed and on schedule for fast-paced sales environment.Responsibilities:
  • Designs training programs, including classroom lectures, online courses, or self-study session for sales employees and managers
  • Develop various media formats such as storyboards, job aids, scripts, self-paced workbooks, facilitator guides and on-line materials
  • Enthusiastic, innovative thinker who is well-versed in adult learning theories
  • Analyzes gaps to identify new development needs and recommends training action and method of instruction delivery
  • Defines learning goals and ensures project progression from start to finish.
  • Maintains an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of intended audience’s needs
  • Assist in the development of a system for curriculum development and maintenance tracking
  • Update and maintain course materials with ongoing field input
  • Develops performance measurement instruments to evaluate instruction, programs and processes
  • Initiates project collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and interfaces effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Facilitate necessary focus group and train the trainer sessions
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication styleQualifications:
  • Exceptional troubleshooting, problem resolution, and customer management skills and abilities.
  • Knowledge of graphic design standards, e-learning tools and LMS.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self starter with exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Web-based training development including knowledge of and intermediate skill in Dreamweaver, Flash, Captivate, and Breeze
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) preferred
  • Travel - 25%
