AmeriPath Indiana is located in Indianapolis, Indiana and is a division of AmeriPath, Inc., a national pathology organization. As one of the leading anatomic pathology practices in the United States, AmeriPath offers a broad range of testing and information services used by physicians in the detection, diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of cancer and other diseases and medical conditions.
We are currently searching for a Histology Technician or Technologist to join our team! Responsibilities include the preparation of histologic slides from human tissue sections for immediate microscopic examination and patient diagnosis. Job requirements include proficiency in cutting, embedding and staining tissue specimens.
Requirements
Additional requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a Histology Training program and certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnologist is preferred. Two years of on-the-job training in a Histology laboratory will be considered.
