Controller

Description Classification: Full-time

Compensation: $115,000 to $125,000 per year

We are recruiting for a Controller for a Government Contractor. The Controller will be a key member of the management team. They will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and finance functions. They have 3 operations that are consolidated into the corporate financials. The Controller will supervise a staff as well as hands on responsibilities from posting JE's to preparing financial statements. Staff consists of cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and collection, payroll. They will be responsible for the financial reporting, including budget, financial forecasting, risk management, statistical reports, audits, tax activities and banking. The Controller will oversee the government reporting in accordance with proper government regulations. This position will maintain banking relationships, work with the outside CPA firm and government agencies. This position is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive benefit program.

Requirements This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA/CPA preferred. Must have 8+ years management experience and 3+ years as a controller in government contract environment.
