Purpose:
Assemble and perform 12 volt wiring on consoles, T-Tops or cabins. Works in the Assembly bldg to fill absenteeism, and perform troubleshooting duties.

General Responsibilities and Duties:
� Assemble and wire consoles, T-Tops or cabins.
� Assists assembly employees with troubleshooting electrical problems as needed.
� Fills in to cover absenteeism on all product lines, performing various tasks such as installing electrical wiring and components, installing hardware, and all other assembly functions.
� Convert red-tagged boats to ensure shipping commitments are met
� Ensures proper procedures are followed and quality standards maintained
� Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area
� Follows all procedures and safety rules
� Performs other duties as required
� Must follow proper procedures in the safe handling of hazardous wastes, which may be generated during the manufacturing process
Requirements Knowledge and Experience Required:
� Minimum of three years experience in electrical assembly or equivalent preferred, with strong preference for those with multiple line and work station/cell experience.
� Electrical certification preferred.
� Must possess extensive electrical knowledge.
� Must be proficient in troubleshooting electrical problems.
� Must be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
� Previous industrial training or teaching experience preferred.
� Marine assembly experience highly preferred.

Skills and Other Requirements:
� Must have demonstrated ability to work independently, without supervision
� Must have excellent communication skills, centered on an ability to transfer knowledge in an instructional, helpful manner.
� Must show a passion for continuous improvement, and an ability to recognize needed program changes to respond to production challenges.
� Must be able to work overtime if needed to meet production goals.
� Must be able to attend off site training if necessary, to stay current with supplier electrical and electronic systems.
