Contract to hire for and outstanding Webmaster!

Description Classification: Contract-to-full-time

Compensation: $20 to $28 per hour

Are you a technically savvy Webmaster? Are you looking for new ways to implement great websites while running on-time and on-budget? Our client is a shop located in Chicago's West Loop and they are looking for a hands on Webmaster to join their team for a contract to hire opportunity!

This person will oversee the agency's web efforts and have daily interaction with clients, vendors, contractors and creative. In this position, the Webmaster is responsible for building and managing a profitable web development practice area within the agency. You'd be the main contact at the agency for developing, implementing new Internet tools, technologies and applications. You gotta' really love the web and be interested in new and emerging trends and technology! You also need to be able to take technical lingo and serve it up to non-technical folks in a way that they actually understand!

Requirements To be considered for this opportunity you must have experience managing web projects from start to finish; planning, organizing and applying technology to help solve clients problems. While you will be working with other programmers, you must have hands on experience developing websites utilizing MySQL, PHP, Joomla, HTML, CSS and other core web technologies. Also, our client is really looking for a webmaster with an entrepreneurial spirit, someone who can take a pro-active lead in ensuring optimum website usability for clients.
