Property Specialist

Description We are currently seeking individuals that possess experience in any/ all of the following areas: land title research, property development, property acquisition/sales, property leasing, wind farm development and/or easement acquisition. Linderlake will train the right candidates to be proficient in the Land Services Profession.

Key Responsibilities of the Property Specialist will be:

• Perform land title searches to develop a chain of title.

• Contact landowner to acquire property rights.

• Act as a liaison between the landowners and Linderlake on behalf of our clients.

• Offer and arrange payment for property rights or damages incurred during investigations, surveys, construction or removal and/or replacement of our client’s facilities.

Education: High School diploma or Bachelor degree helpful. Additional coursework in land use and right-of-way acquisition helpful.

Experience: One year of land title research, property development, property acquisition/sales, property leasing or easement acquisition.

Specific Skills:

As an example the right of way agent or property specialist would perform the following tasks:

• Research the chain of title at the county Recorder’s Office.

• Obtain Comparable Sales Data.

• Work with Engineers in the development of system routes.

• Negotiate Property Rights.

• Act as Liaison between Landowners and Construction Crews.

• Calculate Damage Settlements and arrange for payment of such.

Linderlake staffs projects across the nation. Individuals willing to travel for extended periods of time is a plus but not required.
