Requirements - 8+ years of Java development, including: JTA, JMX, and RMI.
  • 4+ years Java web application development.
  • 2+ years experience with Spring and Hibernate
  • 2+ years experience with Tomcat.
  • 2+ years of apache experience.
  • 2+ years in financial sector. (one candidate)
  • Solid understanding of OOP.
  • Understanding of AOP.
  • Advanced Java developer: among other Java features, understands collection suite. exception handling, and thread management.
  • Experience in Java monitoring.
  • Understand patterns and anti-patterns and best practices of Java.
  • Understands architecture and design and can contribute in open discussions.
  • Can put together automated builds and deployments without assistance.
  • Must be able to be productive on the project from the beginning.
  • Experience with Subversion desired.
  • Able to use Unix or Mac based workstation.
  • Ability to work alone or in groups and have excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with MySQL a plus.
  • Security experience a plus.
