We are currently looking for a Group Leader at our Batesville, IN facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision to production employees in department(s) (10-20 unskilled or semi-skilled workers)
Work scheduling and assignment
Employee training and development
Ensure production quality and quantity requirements are met
Evaluating production and staffing needs
Administering safety, CI, 5S, communication, and team-building programs
Actively encourages and supports concepts of employee involvement, continuous quality improvement, and team work
Informs supervisor of all pertinent information and developments
Liaison with other departments to resolve manufacturing problems
May be involved in first level grievance, resolution activities, and labor agreement administration
Arranges for maintenance/repair of machines/equipment as needed
Other duties may be assigned

Requirements
Basic Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is desired
Five-to-seven years relevant manufacturing experience desired
An equivalent combination of education and experience would be a distinct advantage
Must possess thorough and relevant manufacturing knowledge
Ability to handle responsibilities effectively and to interface with internal and external customers
Knowledge of JD Edwards Manufacturing software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software
