Staff Accountant

Description Classification: Temporary

Compensation: $14.00 to $18.00 per hour

We're looking for a team player, go-getter and is flexible with change. Someone who can think outside the box, and provide suggestions for improving processes would be valued. Problem solving skills are essential.

Specific job functions would probably be, but not limited to

•Enters cash transfers/wires into accounting system
•Reconciles cash on regular basis, including month-end
•Provides management with daily cash report
•Processes weekly AP check runs
•Oversees and assists accounts payable function
•Reports to controller with cash requirements for bank
•Month-end journal entry preparation
•Enters payroll into accounting system
•Month-end reconciliation (balance sheet, P&L, and roll forwards)
•Ad hoc reporting/variance analysis, as needed

Requirements Education: Undergraduate in Accounting from 4 year university
Experience : 2-4 years
CPA candidate preferred, but not required
SAGE/MAS 200 Experience preferred, but not required
