Currently, Kelly Scientific is conducting a search for qualified candidates to fill an Lab Technician 3-5 yrs experience position in Indianapolis, IN. INDUSTRY: Pharmaceutical LOCATION: downtown Indianapolis, IN EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 18 month contract (ends on Mar 30, 2011) MUST HAVE 3-5 YRS EXPERIENCE WITH PACKAGING AND/OR PHYSICAL MATERIAL TESTING
The contractor will perform testing and generate data to characterize integrity, safety, and performances of various packaging components and systems in a lab environment as well as support pilot packaging operations. The assignments may also include miscellaneous tasks in support of instrument/equipment qualification and maintenance, data mining and analysis, and other lab operations. It is desirable for the applicants to have skills/ prior experiences in the field of physical characterization and material testing (such as mechanical and thermal testing), and basic lab skills. 60-70% plastic testing, some testing on glass, and minimal metal testing.
