We are currently seeking the following Electrical Engineer Experienced in Nuclear Power in our Charlotte, NC office.JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a member of the Electrical Group for domestic nuclear projects, responsibilities will be to perform a variety of engineering and design assignments, and to support procurement and construction activities. Significant experience in electrical distribution, equipment sizing, and systems design will be required. Has led the successful completion of Electrical design projects. Independently evaluates, selects and uses standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for technical projects. This is a full time position in the Charlotte office. Travel to Utility sites would be required on an infrequent basis.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequires Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical engineering. Minimum 11 years engineering experience is required, with substantial experience on nuclear projects preferred. Professional registration is expected. Experience at nuclear operating facilities is preferred. Experience with design and operation of multiple plant systems is required. Work typically performed in an office environment, with visits to customer industrial facilities to be expected. Candidate must meet the criteria for access to the company�s, partners�, and clients� technologies.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSNormal office environment with heavy, demanding workload. Heavy interaction with employees and job applicants. May require frequent overtime. GENERAL INFORMATION Position is full-time, salaried-exempt and is located in Charlotte, NC.
