As our District Stores Director - Factory Stores, you'll lead the stores within the district to achieve sales and profitability goals in order to ensure long-term business growth in accordance with Nike's Brand philosophy and consumer focus. You'll develop constructive and positive relationships with Nike partners and manage district performance through revenue, wages, shrinkage and operating income. You'll also establish monthly and annual district budgeting and forecasting data and processes that tie into the overall retail plan; develop district business plans that support corporate retail initiatives and track results; and analyze business performance against marketplace/stores and create action plans to maximize profitability, productivity and business growth. You'll also ensure loss prevention audits are executed on time and include follow-up action plans. In addition, you'll be accountable for the overall leadership and people management of the district, including human resource planning, proactively recruiting and hiring top talent, training and development, managing performance, succession and career planning, coaching and counseling.
Requirements for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
8 years' retail management experience
2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree
3 years' multi-store retail management experience
Experience with a specialty retailer strongly preferred
Retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, sales and people management experience
Merchandising, inventory control, loss prevention, point of sale systems, facility/equipment planning and buying experience
Staffing and selection, coaching and counseling, training and development, performance management, conflict resolution and employee relations experience
Must be proficient with MS Office
