The US Restaurant Development Department is a diverse & successful Architecture, Engineering, and Retail Brand Design team that lead the development & design direction of McDonald's restaurants across the U.S. The Staff has years of experience and includes Architects, Engineers, and Designers with a focus on providing a contemporary & relevant experience to our customers visiting our restaurants.

A unique opportunity exists within McDonald's Retail Brand Design Studio within the US Restaurant Development Dept. As Project Designer, your primary function will be to lead broad scale execution of decor portfolio designs across the US McDonald's system.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Accurate preparation, coordination, and completion of project specific designs & drawings

Preparation of building or interior material specifications related to presentation and/or construction documents

Coordination with field construction teams around project design specifications

Responding to technical implications of design decisions

Solid Project management skills are a must

Requirements Minimum requirements for position: Prerequisites

Bachelors Degree in Interior/Retail or an equivalent design related field

Minimum 3-5 years of proven industry experience

Proficiency in all facets of design - graphic/industrial design an advantage

Strong project management skills

Ability to travel nationally on field related assignments

Knowledge and/or experience in construction processes also an advantage

Strong communication skills

Proficient in Photoshop, PowerPoint, Autocad

Working knowledge in a few of the following programs: 3D Studio Max, Illustrator, In Design, Sketchup, 3D Autocad

NCDIQ Certification is an advantage
