Assistant Director of Patient Financial Services

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH)in Tallahassee, FL seeks qualified individual to serve as Assistant Director of Patient Financial Services. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee, monitor, and direct activities related to Insurance Billing, Collections and Follow Up. The Assistant Director must remain current on all billing requirements and regulations, ensuring compliance, and implement changes as directed by regulatory agencies. Responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating all activities related to insurance billing functions including, but not limited to, effectiveness of processes, systems, and colleague productivity.

The ideal candidate for this position will have both a minimum of five years health care or hospital billing experience and several years of management experience. A career history that exhibits continual professional growth with personal and professional goals for further growth will enhance the candidate's success in this position. Desired attributes include the ability to think outside the box, show initiative, assess processes, and manage by inclusion. We are looking for leadership qualities and experience.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or related financial field

Experience: Minimum of five years health care related or hospital billing experience, and previous supervisory experience.
