The Infection Control Practitioner - will be responsible for the ongoing planning, implementation, and coordination of the Infection Control program for the hospital. This individual, by virtue of education and experience, is sanctioned by the governing body to be recognized as the authority in Infection Control policy, procedure, and practice for the organization. The ICP is accountable for the program to ensure the continued surveillance, prevention and control of infection.
