Key Overall Responsibilities:Grow the Direct Channel delivering profitable revenues and growth rates. Provides marketing support and leadership to help define channel vision, strategy and solutions to address business challenges, consumer needs and enable specific business goals. Understands business and consumer insights within their channel, and articulates/implements marketing concepts and solutions in a clear and compelling way. Interfaces with internal team members throughout the consumer roadmap and planning process as well as execution to deliver Diageo’s share of market and revenues. Leads integrated marketing campaigns that include digital, direct mail, ad hoc events, and call center (in/out bound marketing initiatives) to produce highly effective consumer campaigns and support the consumer journey. Will lead direct initiatives to create successful long term revenue streams, in addition to wine club management and will serve as strategy lead on many initiatives within a given channel or potentially across multiple channels and platforms (including digital). Will play an active role in business development, preparing proposals/RFP’s and participating in capability agency selection presentations and quality control, in addition to budget management. Responsibilities:

  • Support consumer marketing strategy and plan, for specific channels to develop the consumer insights/journey and value proposition, ensuring that revenue and share of market is achieved.
  • Support, develop and execute integrated marketing plans in key channels to ensure overall share of market and revenue goals are achieved.
     
  • Develop and grow successful marketing partnerships to generate maximum revenues and share of market
     Liaise with inventory management teams to ensure product mix for consumer campaigns (including pricing and overall consumer fulfillment experience)
    . Engage with management and agencies to identify key strategic challenge(s) and business opportunities, direct marketing and digital needs to be addressed, and support evaluations/changes for improvement
  •      Work cross functionally with other strategic & planning colleagues, agency partners, discipline leads, and other internal partners to recognize and articulate transformational, game-changing ideas
  • Support consumer direct/ e-Commerce/digital strategy engagements for key channels with a strong focus on business analysis, to enhance promotions, marketing activities and overall business revenues & consumer experience. 
  • Provide thought leadership and points of view on Digital strategies including e-Commerce, Social Media, Digital in retail, etc.
  • Often works on multiple projects simultaneously  Qualifications:
  •    5-7 years Consumer Marketing, and/or management consulting experience with at least 3-5 years experience in the digital space
  • Bachelors degree required
  •  Must have experience in consumer-driven businesses / CPG’s
  •           Proven experience with integrated marketing campaigns and delivering positive ROI through resolute analysis
  •   Proven experience contributing to strategy and digital roadmap projects in a complex business and marketing environment. Knowledge of online advertising, online strategy, basic technology issues considered a plus Experience with marketing partnerships to generate incremental revenues and enhance overall consumer loyalty considered a plus
  •  Must be comfortable solving problems through a 'hypothesis' driven approach using a combination of top-down and bottom-up analysis
  •  Strong interpersonal skills as team player
  •  Must have a "change agent" attitude; constantly pushing to develop new opportunities, approaches, ideas, perspectives, etc. to help generate revenue streams
