Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Project Specialist

Under the direction of the manager, implement, maintain, upgrade, document and provide training on Diagnostic Laboratory Information Systems. We will rely on you to ensure that system capabilities and customer satisfaction are maximized. BloodCenter is a world-class institution due in part to the high caliber of its employees. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of laboratory information systems (LIS), preferably Cerner Millennium, MS Project, labtest.com, MicroSoft CRM, and/or Smart Pilgrim CAPA, and have excellent computer skills. Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to train diverse audiences are required, as well as skills at problem identification and escalation, data analysis, change management, and team building. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in laboratory testing, use of LIS, and computer or technical training, as well as a bachelor’s degree in a lab science or information systems with Cerner certification preferred. br/>
Salary Range Minimum: (Starting salaries are based on the job requirements and candidates qualifying education and experience.)
