Senior Financial Analyst Bus/Ops Center Assessment and Revision

Senior Financial Analyst

The Financial Data Analyst will be responsible for execution of a profit center within a specific initiative. The Data Analyst will have a dotted line into business groups and shared operations centers through the duration of the project. The Data Analyst will be required to assess all centers and follow prescribed resolution paths for the centers identified as requiring change. The Data Analyst will also be able to critically assess data when the prescribed resolution path is inappropriate. Facilitation across project teams and functional areas at varying levels of an organization will be conducted.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Create restatement files, process and test them.
  
• Identify new master data needs and create master data for cost elements and the centers.
  
• Assess allocation rules and appropriately revise them.
  
• Identification of purchase orders requiring revision.
• Perform more complex analysis in areas such as budgets, strategic plans, product line analysis, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) work and treasury and/or credit functions.

This is an estimated 7 month contract position, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Redmond, Washington. Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications:

• Ability to assess large amounts of data and identify the critical.
  
• Ability to perform facilitation across project teams and functional areas at varying levels of an organization.
  
• Ability to manage a high degree of change.
  
• Minimum 4+ years of related work experience required.
  
• Advanced level Excel skills, with an emphasis on pivot tables.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field required. MBA is required.
