Manager Job
Industrial contractor company in Salt Lake City, Utah is actively looking for an experienced Office Manager with a construction background to manage Industrial Construction projects.
Responsibilities
- The planning and staffing of the construction�s divisions field operations on specific projects and/or shutdowns
- Planning must utilize manpower and equipment in the most profitable manner
- Directly supervise all field personnel who are placed in charge of specific projects and indirectly supervises the field crews
- Will conduct relationships with labor unions as necessary to complete projects
- Work with the sales, estimating and engineering departments, advising them of conditions existing in the field that will effect submission of quotations and installation of jobs
- Provide care and maintenance of field equipment and the field storage yard under direction from company construction manager
- Will initiate requests for purchase of new field equipment as directed by construction manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably Construction Management or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of experience managing Industrial Construction Projects, Plants or Facilities
- Previous Project Management experience on Industrial construction projects
- Planning, scheduling and estimating experience
- Able to travel 50% of the time to include some Holidays and weekends
- Must be willing to receive calls at home for emergency response to customer needs
