Business/System Analyst 2

Description We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst II role. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills and technology experience to join the Sales and Operations Planning team.
* This position will be responsible for creating and managing the Sales and Operations plan for multiple product lines. Will evaluate and implement opportunities for improving the planning process and planning systems.
* 2+ years of demonstrated quantitative and qualitative experience with demonstrated impact to a business; a track record of creative problem solving using software systems and the desire to create and build new processes. * Familiarity with supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics ' gained through work experience or graduate level education. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role requires effective communication with senior management as well as with colleagues from computer science, operations research and business backgrounds. * Prior use of Lean and/or Six Sigma analytical techniques is a plus. * Technical aptitude and familiarity with the design and use of complex supply chain software systems. Experience working effectively with software engineering teams. Analysts are not expected to write code, but it helps to be able to read it. * Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Perl, Unix/Linux, Visual Basic, or other programming languages are plusses. * Bachelor's degree or experience in computer science or another technical field is highly desired.
