MAPCO Express is currently seeking a Division Manager for our Southeast Region. We will consider candidates that live in the Southeast Area.

The Division Manager is responsible for all aspects of store operations within a given geographic region of approximately 80+/- stores. The Division Manager is reponsible for leading a team to accomplish set budgetary goals in sales, margin, expenses and overall profitability for their Division.

Provide leadership to a team of District Managers to attain company targets for sales, margin, expenses, employee turnover and overall profitability of each store

Regularly ride stores with each District Manager to identify areas of opportunity to improve performance at each facility

Weekly review of sales and margin performance to budget and develop action plans to meet or exceed budget
Weekly review of labor expense to budget and provide explanations/action plan if needed to achieve budget

Regular review of controllable expenses to budget and provide explanations/action plan if needed to achieve budget

Review and monitor capital expenditure budget to stay within established limits

Interact with Marketing Team to ensure understanding of Marketing Initiatives so that Operations Team can execute defined marketing strategy

Interact and provide direction with training and recruiting to ensure that employee needs for the division are being fulfilled.

Interact and provide direction to Administrative Assistant to ensure that any required paperwork/reports required are completed in a timely manner.

Interact and provide direction to Maintenance Staff to ensure that all maintenance needs for the division are being fulfilled

Requirements:
Masters Degree is mandatory in order to be considered for this position.

Strong character, highly motivated, self-starter, sales oriented, professional appearance, ambitious, focused and strong leadership ability.

Convenience Store management to mid-to-senior level preferred, minimum of 5 years experience preferred

Ability to develop a team, leading them toward a common goal

Computer literacy at proficient level including most commonly used Microsoft programs

Profit and Loss statement understanding at mid-to-senior management level

Recruiting and interviewing skills at mid-to-senior management level
