Description The Orlando office of PBS&J is seeking a Senior Architect with experience in Higher Education and Federal projects.
Under the general direction of a technical manager, provides technical expertise to diverse architectural projects throughout the region, district or company-wide. May function as lead architect or consultant.

Defines scope of project, with full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating project assignments
Selects problems for investigation, developing novel approaches and solutions to architectural problems in consultation with the director of Architecture.
Conducts quality control checks, reviewing calculations, designs, specifications and construction documents for accuracy and completeness, and performing on-site inspections of projects under construction to ensure aesthetic value and quality construction.
Plans and organizes the work of junior architects and technicians.
Plans and organizes the CADD staff required for the project.
Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

Requirements Bachelors degree in Architecture with 10 years experience or a Masters Degree in Architecture and 9 years of experience.
Valid Florida AIA/NCARB registration is required
Qualified candidates will be LEED accredited
BIM proficiency a must.
Qualified candidates will have extensive experience with Higher Education and Federal projects.
