Operations Manager - Environmental Services / Custodial

Description Sodexo is seeking an Operations Manager for the Environmental Services (Housekeeping) department at Detroit Receiving Hospital. This 900K sq ft facility is located in Detroit, Michigan. The Operations Manager will work a varied schedule, and needs to be flexible to work any shift. This position will supervise 40 employees and will be involved in training, coaching, counseling, and customer service efforts. Position Summary:

Number two position at the account with responsibility for all operations. Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Supervises managers. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.

Basic Education Requirement:

High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:

2 years of lead/supervisory/management experience

Basic Functional Experience Required:

2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.Position Posting Title: Operations Manager 2 - Environmental Services / Custodial
