The City of Opa-locka, Florida is looking for an individual with experience in local government as a City Manager. Bachelors/Masters Degree is preferred in the area of Public Administration, Business Administration or related field or experience in managing a city of this size and population. Population of 16,000; annual budget of $36,000,000. We are a full service city with a commission/manager form of government. The City Manager will serve as the head of the city ' s government and serves at the pleasure of the City Commission. Must have organizational skills, economic development/ redevelopment, personnel, finance, and team management skills are also required. Must be a strong visionary and creative leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The City offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
