Our client, located in the North metro Denver area, has an opening for a Preformulation Chemist. As part of this team, you will be working with their New Jersey team supporting projects globally. You should be viewed as an expert in this particular aspect of chemistry and come with the ability to demonstrate a wide knowledge of analytical instrumentation (chromatography, spectroscopy, chiral chromatography, XRD diffraction) to complement your current skills.
In this role, you will be responsible essentially responsible for: 1) Compound characterization to include the chemical and physical properties of pharmaceutical powders. 2) Deformulation of innovator products.
This is a direct placement opportunity, salary 80-110K annually. The ideal candidate for this position should posses a PhD + 4 years on industry experience, MS + 7 years of industry experience or BS + 9 years of industry experience. Experience working with pharmaceuticals or generics is Key for this position. Furthermore, individuals with the mentality of 'Everyone does everything' will thrive in this environment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS: Write protocols, SOPs, contribute to ANDA filings and reports. Ability to organize, prioritize and effectively perform concurrent tasks with minimal supervision. Strong oral, verbal and written communication skills. Provide training to new hires and guidance to staff in conducting research, analyzing results and documenting findings. Maintains laboratory standards in an FDA regulated environment. Use of knowledge, creativity, company practices and priorities to determine solutions to complex problems. Leads continuous improvement initiatives.
