The Treasury Analyst role is ideal for someone interested in getting exposure to, learning and growing with Koch’s corporate liquidity management group. The Treasury Analyst role will have direct responsibility for cash management, investment management, performance reporting and interfacing with internal and external investment professionals. The primary functions of this role include the following:
  • Opening, closing and overall management of bank and investment accounts
  • Maintain database of account signers and bank accounts
  • Liaison between Koch businesses and our banks to help resolve issues, share knowledge and facilitate partnerships
  • Cash management (processing wires, setting positions and optimizing excess cash investment) for domestic and international bank accounts
  • Performing excess cash investing and investment selection
  • Interfacing with investment professionals, analyzing investment opportunities and making recommendations
  • Performing special projects to help optimize the cash management and investment process
    This role is expected to be a back up to other roles in the Liquidity Management group, thus the person will get exposure to all facets of our group.
  • Requirements
  • Team player – given the level of interaction with the rest of the liquidity management group, it’s important that the person work well in a team environment
  • Flexibility & desire to learn - the liquidity management group is a very dynamic group. Roles and responsibilities can change periodically – the ideal candidate is someone that is interested in learning cash management and investments, can pick things up quickly and work without continued oversight
  • Accountability - we are looking for someone that connects with and works well in an environment where delegation, accountability and earning decision rights are the norm.
  • Emphasis on strong cash controls, compliance and meeting deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook

    Preferred Experience:
  • 1-3 years professional experience
  • Financial modeling
  • Corporate Treasury or cash management experience

    Education Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting from an accredited University.
    Physcial Demands/Unusual Working Conditions:
  • Will work some holidays that Koch is typically closed, but banks are open (i.e. day after Thanksgiving). Typically rotate the responsibility in the group. The employee is given a “floating holiday” in return.
