SPECIAL ASSETS MANAGER - CONTRACT POSITION
Local Community Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Assets/Workout Officer to manage and liquidate a portfolio of problem loans. These loans consist primarily of residential developer and builder loans and commercial real estate, and range in size from $500K to $2mil.
Specific requirements include:
-- ability and willingness to work as a fulltime, contract empoyee; per diem allowance will be available
-- 7+ years of workout, foreclosure and liquidation of OREO experience
-- Strong commercial credit; financial/analytical, & collateral/assessment capabilities
-- Knowledge of bankruptcy law and issues, related party(owners/guarantors), & related compliance issues
-- Ability to convey, pursue and protect bank's interests in a professional manner
-- Select and direct outside counsel
-- Adhere to bank's credit policies, maintain required documents; clear exceptions, monitor covenant compliance, recommend risk rating changes, loan loss recognition and accrual status
