Senior Instructional Developer

Description Job Responsibilities:
Perform reliability and validity testing on test instruments as well as trials and sequential validation on education and training modules. Validation of learning assets will require a traceability matrix that portrays the link between task, learning objectives, and learning content for rapid content revision. Verification of this traceability, assessment of the instructional quality of the material, analysis of data, such as test scores and completion rates, collected from the LMS provide the cornerstone of information to analyze against metrics desired. The analysis provides the senior ISDs with necessary data for broad recommendations and identification of opportunities for process improvement. The analysis will be vetted through LAPS team principals in support of DAU goals. The Senior ISD supervises the design, development, delivery, and configuration management of in-house learning assets.

Required Education:
MS, Instructional Systems Design or related field
Required Work Experience:
Extensive experience in the following areas: front-end analysis, task analysis, learning analysis based on project requirements, GFI analysis; overall interface/instructional design; development of assessment approach based on program requirements; formative and summative evaluations; learning content V&V; life cycle process and configuration management.

The Senior Instructional Systems Designer has experience in a lead ISD position on several projects and has performed courseware verification and validation using formative and summative evaluation techniques that map to Kirkpatrick Level 2 at a minimum.

� Comprehensive knowledge of the instructional design process

� Experience designing and developing web-based adult learning

� Knowledge of courseware verification and validation process

� Knowledgeable in the design of SCORM and Section 508 compliant courseware
